New Home Purchase Process

Registering Your Realtor with a Builder

Before visiting any builder, it’s crucial to register your realtor to ensure they are recognized and can assist you throughout the process. Here are the steps:

  1. Contact Prospective Builders: Reach out to builders to understand their registration policies. This protects your realtor’s commission interests
  2. Initial Visit: Your realtor should accompany you on your first visit to the builder’s property or model home. During this visit, formally register your realtor and yourself using the builder’s registration form
  3. Alternative Registration: If your realtor cannot attend the initial visit, notify the builder and inquire about alternative registration policies
  4. Maintain Communication: Ensure open communication between you, your realtor, and the builder throughout the building process
